Which is harder crocheting or knitting

I learned to knit when I was very young. I love the straight edge aspect and the variation you can make with 2 stitches. I can make small granny squares, but you can get the same effect by knitting. The stitches are larger than knitting typically and you might be able to work up a scarf faster. I have crocheted since i was about I mostly made afghams. Two years ago i decided i wanrwd to learn to knit socks and boy rhat waa a mistake! I know i have pulled out my project at least 10 times. The only things i can truly knit are a very simple hat and wash cloths.

I can make mitered squares so i may use the oodles of sock yarn i purchased to make a c p zy memory blanket. I also love the thought of buymini skeins or hanks of yarn and can put that towards blankets. I have gone back to crocheting snd i have two gramny squares on the go. I am really emjoying worling pm both I wont ever totally give up knitting but crocheting is and always will bey first love.
